The Steel Shroud is manufactured from a Steel Billet using the latest CNC machining technology. To protect the Steel Shroud from climatic conditions it is Zinc plated with a gold passovated finish.
There is no point making a security device, the Steel Shroud, that protects a padlock from the three common methods that 99.9% of all thieves use to break apart a padlock and then include mild steel chain that can be cut with a bolt cutter.
This is why we will not sell the Steel Shroud without including 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter, Freight 70 High Tensile Chain that cannot be cut with a standard bolt cutter, hack saw or any other non powered hand-held metal cutting tool.
