Abus 83/45 Padlock Modified For The Steel Shroud

Padlock Protection partially assembled. You can see how the Abus 83/45 Padlock and the 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter, Freight 70 High Tensile Chain are secured inside the Steel Shroud.

 Our Locksmith modifies each Abus 83/45 Padlock so its Shackle is completely removable as you can see in the picture to your left. This allows the 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter, Freight 70 High Tensile Chain to be slid into the slot on each side of the Steel Shroud. Then the Shackle is placed in the slot on top of the Steel Shroud and then the Padlock Body is inserted into the bottom of the Steel Shroud and pushed into the Shackle and locked with the supplied Abus Key.
