Our Locksmith modifies each Abus 83/45 padlock so its shackle is completely removable as you can see in the picture to your right. This allows the 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter, Freight 70 High Tensile Chain to be slid into each side of the Steel Shroud. Then the shackle is placed in the top of the Steel Shroud and then the padlock body is inserted into the bottom of the Steel Shroud and pushed into the shackle and locked.
